Craig is cofounder and Chief Experience Engineer (CEE) at blekksprut1. He is also the festival director of our beloved factory light festival.
Craig is passionate about technology and its ability to create accessible experiences in the public space which inspire, promote curiosity and drive change.
With a background from large and complex industrial projects and the founder of multiple startup companies, Craig adapts the methodologies learnt from here and transfers them to develop dynamic delivery of cultural projects.
Using unique, natural and post-industrial landscapes as the canvas, Craig together with blekksprut1 and the Factory Light team, commission large public projection mapping, light art installations, unique events and immersive audience experiences each year where creative expression and innovative techniques are explored and narrative used to capture and develop the audience.
Craig is educated as an Engineer within Mechanics, Electronics and Computer Science from Australia and Denmark and uses this background to enable the festival to pursue new frontiers of technology enabled experiences.
Kristina, curator, producer, consultant at blekksprut1, creative director of factory light festival.
Kristina works with various international and local light art productions and events. She has education and experience in live performance as a dancer/choreographer, yogateacher and giving unique concerts using gongs, her voice and a range of percussion instruments.
With her broad experience and education in arts/social sciences and teaching from Norway and Australia, dance, yoga and yoga therapy, she brings an artistic, idealistic and academic point of view to her work with art projects and events. Her strengths are developing interesting concepts and ideas for new art pieces, unique events and collaborative art projects. Kristina loves curating, connecting people and creating interdisciplinary projects and teams.
Through her work with factory light festival, her wish/aim is for people from all ages and backgrounds to enjoy art. Art is communication, and important for people’s identity and mental health.
Kristina is passionate about nature, and want to bring environmental issues and UN’s sustainable goals to people’s attention through art.
Torjus is the teams hands on technical production lead and makes our ideas happen on site for the audience to enjoy!
He is always up for a challenge and no site is beyond his mastery! He always finds a good solution!
He is also wicked good at swinging flames and going with the flow!
