growth (2026)
Format: Experimental Immersive audio visual experience
Location: Indoor Industrial Hall / Immersive Space
Duration: 4:50 (Seamless Loop)
What remains when the storm passes?
Inspired by childhood memories of the Great Barrier Reef and a retrospective visit in 2025, growth is an immersive mapping that explores the resilience of our oceans. While bleaching and storm damage tell a story of loss, they also mark the beginning of a silent, microscopic revolution.
The installation takes the audience on a meditative yet playful journey through the life cycle of a reef. Emerging from the calcified fragments of the past, vibrant new ecosystems begin to pulse and bloom. It is a digital transformation of debris into life—a reminder that nature’s blueprint is one of persistence.
In the wake of destruction, we find renewal. Because where growth is possible, there is hope.
A retrospective journey into the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Following a return to familiar waters in 2025, growth translates the scars of bleaching and storm damage into a vibrant digital rebirth.
This immersive mapping is a meditative, playful exploration of coral regeneration—witnessing life as it emerges from fragments to reclaim the ecosystem.
A study of resilience. A beacon of hope.
