LIMELIGHT ACADEMY – 3D PROJECTION MAPPING MASTER CLASS

Based on an idea by Limelight 3D Projection Mapping and blekksprut1, Limelight Academy was created.

Limelight 3D Projection Mapping has over 15 years of experience and are recognised as one of the best in the field.

Limelight Academy is a unique education program for young talents, with a Projection Mapping Masterclass. The students receive mentoring and support through the program, and the opportunity to show their work to an audience world-wide.

With a long-term program and worldwide one-of-a-kind concept, the aim is to contribute to the developing of 3D-mapping scene.

Limelight Academy was launched at factory light festival 2018, followed up by a second one for Vivid Sydney at Chatswood, Australia and a third one for factory light festival 2019.

At factory light festival in 2018 and 2019, the immense industrial silos in the old, rough industrial area of Slemmestad, was used at the canvas for the Limelight academy 3D projection master class students.

Unique talented artists from Hungary, China, Mexico, Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium, Sweden, Poland have created their unique 3D-mappings on the silos in Slemmestad.
