growth is an audio -visual immersive and sculptural mapping celebrating the collaboration between Slovakia and Norway, and long term growth and legacy after Bodø24 and Trencin26.
The UN emphasizes collaboration, partnership for goals, to develop a sustainable future. Culture is a powerful tool for collaboration and achieving the goals locally and globally.
“growth” is inspired by plants from the two partner countries Norway and Slovakia, including wild flowers. Norwegian Liverleaf and Slovak Pasche flower share the symbolism of spring, transformation, rebirth and love. Growing in the cold soil early spring, Liverleaf and Slovak Pasche Flower remind us of the growth cycles in nature.
Like humans, plants collaborate and communicate. Plants collaborate by electrical and chemical signals. They communicate with their unique frequencies.
Research shows how sound at certain frequencies can heal and enhance growth in plants and humans.”Future medicine will be the medicine of frequencies.” — Albert Einstein
The soundscape of “growth” includes frequencies beneficial for plants and humans, and is an inspiration for both the sound and visual of “Growth”.
What frequencies enhance growth in plants, people and collaboration? What is the frequency of sustainable growth?
